If you don't have healthcare insurance

The latest topic of discussion amongst all kinds of Americans within the country and outside is the health care reform. After having heard President Obama’s speech and read tons about it, the one question that is uppermost on most minds is what if a person does not have a health insurance after the reform comes into place.

After a lot of hard work and discussion and more rounds of discussions there has been the final health reform put into place. This is bound to make health insurance and health care reachable far more widely and more people will be covered under its gambit. This means that previously those who might not have had any insurance coverage will have it now. This will be by making the health insurance more affordable and making the insurance companies accountable.

  • Health reform and the tax cut:

This is the very first time that such a large middle class tax cut for health care has been given in the entire history of the US. This means that tons of people are going to find that taking a health insurance will be far more affordable as premium rates have dropped and they will be able to get a tax cut on it. This is good news for the millions of families who would not buy health insurance but will be propelled to because of the tax savings. It also works out well for the small business owners who can get a health insurance for their workers and claim it as a tax cut. Taking the numbers into account, more than 95% of all Americans will be able to gain health insurance for themselves. 32 million Americans who just couldn’t have been able to afford the premiums for the health insurance schemes will be able to do so now.

  • Competitive market and choices:

The way the health insurance policies are now, they are highly competitive and offer a wide range of choices that are similar to the common man and the politician. This will make health insurance a level playing field and along with it offer a vast amount of choices to the buyers. The reduced monopoly in the market along with competition will certainly bring about better coverage, lower premiums and a higher level of accountable and responsible customer service.

  • Pre-existing medical conditions

If you had any pre-existing medical condition and went for insurance previously there were more of chances of you being denied. But, with the new health care system in check, even those who were previously denied this insurance come into coverage and will not be denied. Therefore, another segment of a whole group of people will get covered under this scheme.

  • Children covered

There are going to be almost 11 million children who did not have any health insurance in their name previously going to be covered now.
Therefore, if you don’t have health insurance it is more than likely that you will have it now with the new health reforms in place.
